How to Beat the Dealer
Blackjack is a famous card game because it stimulates the players into playing harder. The fact that everyone must play against the dealer makes it always exciting on the part of both the player and the dealer.
Another term for blackjack is "21" because everyone aims to reach the card value of 21 where the royal family is counted as ten and the ace is counted either one or eleven. If a player's card value exceeds twenty-one, it is called a bust and the busted player loses. It is a game which is very easy to learn and to play that is why most gambling rookies play this game first before engaging into other games of gambling.
Once the cards are given and distributed among the players and the dealer, the players may either "stand" or "hit". When you signaled "stand", the value of your cards is close to twenty-one.
If the value of your card is greater than that of the dealer, you win the game and gets a wager equal to the bet you have made but if the dealer has a value nearer to twenty-one, you lose. If both of you got the same value, it is a "push" and the wager stays on the table until someone gets it. If you get an exact twenty-one, the dealer pays you a wager one and a half times larger than your bet.
In playing blackjack, there are standard rule which are already proven to be worth using because it gives the players more chance of winning the wager. First, always consider the cards of your dealer. Your declaration of either a hit or stand should depend upon the dealer's shown card. The player must at all times suppose that the dealer has a ten as the down. Card counting is also an advantage when playing blackjack.
Although it should be done when you are really keen and when you already master it at your best. In card counting, you need to identify all the cards that are being drawn and focusing on the number of aces and face cards mainly. By this method, you get an edge because you have examined the probabilities and the circumstances of making your bet. This is not cheating but somehow, especially in casinos, it is not tolerated.
Playing blackjack is easy but it needs discipline and practice in order to master it at its fullest. With the proper strategy and keenness of mind, hitting a pretty big wager is not that hard.
